Investment Strategy

The portfolio of the Fund consists of Canadian, federal, provincial, municipal and corporate issued bonds and debentures that are selected and weighted to approximate the overall characteristics of the FTSE TMX Canada Universe Bond Index.
The Fund is managed based on the philosophy that it is both impractical and financially prohibitive to fully replicate an index in pursuit of market returns. The Fund uses stratified sampling to efficiently achieve index-like returns.

The fund only invests in securities with a minimum A credit rating or equivalent at the time or purchase.

Investment Objective

The investment objective of the Fund is to track the performance of the FTSE TMX Canada Universe Bond Index.
