Investment Strategy
The Fund seeks to deliver a high rate of interest income with a focus on controlling risk through TD Asset Management Inc.'s (TDAM) active fundamental fixed income approach. The Fund maintains a diversified portfolio by investing predominantly in Canadian investment-grade corporate fixed income securities.

TDAM's active fundamental fixed income philosophy is grounded in guiding principles that stress independent credit research and sound yield and credit curve analysis. TDAM believes that applying these principles through a highly disciplined portfolio construction methodology is the most predictable way to generate competitive risk-adjusted returns when measured against any given benchmark.

Investment Objective

The investment objective of the Fund is to modestly outperform the FTSE TMX Canada Universe All Corporate Bond Index while seeking to mitigate the risks over the long-term.
