TDAM and Epoch

We’ve expanded our world so you can expand yours

TD Asset Management Inc. (TDAM) is pleased to expand investment opportunities for Canadian institutional investors through our relationship with New York-based asset manager, Epoch Investment Partners, Inc. (Epoch). Epoch and TDAM became affiliates when Epoch was acquired by TD Bank Group in March 2013.

The acquisition of Epoch has significantly expanded TD Bank Group’s North American investment management footprint and has strengthened Epoch's existing franchise and competitive advantage.

Our new funds include:

TD Emerald Global Equity Shareholder Yield Pooled Fund Trust

TD Emerald Global Equity Choice Pooled Fund Trust
TD Emerald U.S. All Cap Value Equity Pooled Fund Trust
TD Emerald U.S. Large Cap Value Equity Pooled Fund Trust

About Epoch
Epoch is a global asset management firm founded in April 2004 to serve institutional clients. With over 80 employees and also an investment team with, on average, more than 20 years of investment management experience each, Epoch brings distinct perspectives and fund management expertise to the TDAM platform. Part of that perspective is a unique focus on free-cash-flow metrics in place of more traditional accounting-based metrics.

The Epoch team believes the key to producing strong risk-adjusted equity returns is the identification of companies with a consistent, straightforward ability to generate free cash flow and to allocate it intelligently among the five possible uses of cash: internal reinvestment opportunities, acquisitions, dividends, share repurchases and debt reduction.

TDAM and Epoch working together
TDAM’s reputation has been built on a broad spectrum of innovative, risk-aware investment strategies that are driven by the needs of our clients. With the addition of Epoch, we are introducing a new range of global and U.S. active fundamental equity strategies guided by a highly respected investment team.

Innovation has always been at the heart of TDAM’s culture — from liability driven investing to low volatility strategies and now global and U.S. equity strategies underpinned by a distinct fundamental methodology. We will continue to listen to our clients and deliver the excellence in service, performance and insight that you have come to expect from us.
